This is a good film! I love movies about the underdog!

Speaking of the underdog... horse showing is going pretty well. haha. Since I last posted, I've been improving more and more, thanks to the help of several people. They've been giving me helpful tips and I appreciate that very much. But the main source of improvement has been just riding Dandy as much as possible. I also thank the Lord for keeping me safe and giving me the strength to keep riding.

We babysat Connor and Garret last week while Uncle Chad and Aunt Erin went on vacation. Having them for a whole week was pretty tiring, but fun. They're so cute! We took them to a horse show last Saturday, so Connor could ride Dandy in the lead line class (a class for little kids to just sit on the horse while an adult leads them around the ring.) He loved it! I showed later that evening and got first place, which was pretty cool.

Summertime has been great so far and it's just beginning! I love this time of year.

Once again, my apologies for not posting in a really long time. Like I've said before, I just haven't been able to think of anything to write.

My last two horse shows didn't result as well I would've liked, but we still have all season to work on some things. Today, Chad (former horse trainer) came to shoe Dandy and after Dandy was shod, he gave me a few pointers on how I should improve my riding. I can't tell you how much it helped. So now hopefully I'll be able to show better and make Dandy mind me more.

Oh yeah... today's my 18th birthday! The day hasn't been that much different than any other day except for the fact now whenever someone asks me how old I am, I can say I'm 18. That's definitely going to take some getting used to. But it's been a really good day so far.

So that's just a quick update on how things are going in my life. Not too much, but hey! It's an update. I hope y'all are doing well too!

ya!
Noel

It was great to see Uncle Chad, Aunt Erin, Connor and Garrett again. The boys have grown so much! I can't get over it. We had a nice weekend with them.

Other than that, there's not too much to talk about. I have a cold, so that's been fun. We babysat Anthony and Keith a few days this week (which explains where I caught the cold) and I had an English test Wednesday.

Next weekend is the spring horse show at the Ky Horse Park, so I've been preparing for that. I think I feel ready to show. I hope I'm ready to show. Since this is my first one of the season, I'm not that concerned about winning. I just want to go out there, do my best and have fun.

Ok, let's talk about American Idol! Who are your 5 favorite singers? Who would you like to see out this week? And which performances have liked the most so far?

Edit: I can't believe tomorrow is the first day in April!

I'm sorry. I've had blogger's block. I apologize.

Hmm.. what has happened lately? Well, we painted last Friday and Saturday. Fun stuff, let me tell ya. Uncle Mark and our cousin Jesse were supposed to come this week, but it didn't work out. Uncle Mark might be coming sometime soon, but we're not sure. Jess won't be coming though, because this week was his spring break and he goes back to school on Monday. I wanted to see him. Uncle Chad, Aunt Erin, Connor and Garrett will be visiting us this weekend, though. To that I am looking forward! We haven't seen them since November.

Wednesday, we went to a Shane & Shane concert at Asbury College for Monee's borthday. After the concert (which was great!), Sav called up Hobert, so he and Lee came over and hung out with us for a while. We got to see Emma and talk with her, though she doesn't talk much. I think Hobert talks enough for the both of them anyway. Just kidding, Hobert. So Wednesday was fun.

Yesterday was Monee's birthday, so the whole family went out to eat last night. We went to Johnny Carino's which was really good. We had never been there, but we all loved it, so we have a new favorite restaurant... or at least I do! So yesterday was cool. And today, we're going to be preparing for company.

Y'all have a good weekend!

I don't have much to say. Went out to eat and then went bowling with Bryan and Lexi last night. It was fun, though it just gives further proof that I'm terrible at bowling. I still had a good time.

This was in our church bulletin a couple Sundays ago, and I really liked it, so I thought I'd share.

                                              Holiness

                                         "God thought it.
                                          Jesus bought it.
                                       The Word taught it.
                                        The soul sought it.
                                         Faith brought it.
                                      The Spirit wrought it.
                                        The devil fought it.
                                           But I've got it."
